On August 9, 1875 at city hall in Ariano di Puglia appeared:

Augusto Carletti, age 28, railroad worker, born in Ancona, resident of Ariano, son of Lorenzo (Carletti) resident of Ancona, and of Vincenza Del Gatto, resident of Ancona

and

Arduina Baldoni, age 27, home maker, born in Ancona, resident of Ariano, daughter of Pietro (Baldoni), deceased, a resident of Ancona when living, and of Vincenza Regni, deceased, resident of Ancona when living,

who requested to be married. The first publication of the intentions was on the 18th of July and the second was on the 25th of July. Before witnesses, the spouses stated that from their union have been born three children. The first two that were born as natural children of Augusto Carletti were reported by him in Ancona. The boy was born March 12, 1869 in Ancona and was given the name of Daniele Carletti, and the girl December 2, 1870 in Ancona and was given the name of Ada Carletti. The third child was born May 16, 1875, (apparently in Ariano) and reported as the natural child of Augusto Carletti and Arduina Baldoni, a boy given the name Ferruccio Carletti. They declared the three children to be their own children, the marriage making them legitimate. The marriage act read to the participants, all signed.
