Help with my G-G-Grandparents - Malaspina

Post by onslo234 »

My Great Grandmother was an Italian opera singer named Ada Malaspina (b. 1882 - Milan). I believe her mother's name was 'Itala,' but I do not know the surname. Apparently Itala was a well-known singer from Milan as well. Itala's husband was named 'Lucilio.'

I would just like to know if anyone has any familial connection with these individuals or who could help me with learning Itala's surname, parents names, etc.

That is my G-G-Grandfather! I just found an obituary for when he died in 1922 that includes the following information:

-He was born in Parma, Italy on or around 1858.

-Nothing is noted about his parents.

-Around 1978 he married ITALA MONICA of Parma, Italy.

-ITALA MONICA died in Italy around 1919 and is buried in Parma.

So now I have a complete name for my G-G-Grandmother: ITALA MONICA

I ran some searches on FamilySearch for ITALA MONICA but came up empty handed.
