I have a special translation from Italian

Post by mascarellafam »

Hi,

I may have posted this before, but thought I would again as some recently contacted me to ask for it.

I got this from the Family History Libray in Utah some years ago. It has the translation of wording from Itlaian birth, arriage and death certificates. It also has Itlalian word list. It also has an incredible list of each letter in the alphabet on how it was written over the many years of time. Each letter has a different shape, depending on the time period from years 1600 to 2000. Amazing this even exists!!!

You will see pencil writing on the document that was put there by the very kind worker in the library.

I originally scanned it in much higher resolution, but this site will not allow for this. So if you can read this well enough please private mesage me and I will email it to you.

I hope this helps many of you to find your family. Please drop me a message on what you learn as I am happy to contribute to you all.

Successful ventures,
Cathy
