help translating photo 2 & letter of prosesion of casket

Post by GeneTree »

I need help translating letter on rear of photo 2 from 1964. Here is Photo 2 and it's letter on the rear for the procession of the casket of my wife's maternal grandfather, Vincenzo Falvo, who died in Gizzeria, Catanzaro, Italy in 1964 while visiting.

I posted Photo 1 of carrying the casket from 2nd story church and it's letter on the rear in another very recent post

See attachment of Photo 2 and letter on rear.

it reads:

This one is when they brought him to the Holy Church of San John the Baptist and they brought his army buddies, disabled from the war, when we went to the church and also on the return.

Affectionate greetings
Your nephew
Leopoldo

This I will send to Aunt Silvia
