Translation of Latin name?

Post by jrbak »

Hello,
Would this be Giacinto Benedetto in Latin or Italian?

Dear Mmogno,
I was not sure if this was Giacinto but thought it might be because of the "cint" in the name and I am so happy I asked you. It turns out this is my Giacinto Benedetto, 4th great grand and my 5th great grand too. Thank you for translating the Latin as I like to look at it in the record and see the words with the translation. I appreciate all you do so very much. They did not live very long then- WOW! I will need help now with any new records going back from this point as I cannot decipher any of the Latin or the person's handwriting. (From 1783 back) I will place a new post for Giuseppe Benedetto. I just cannot thank you enough!!
Have a good day.

Dear Mmogno,
Does this mean (because of his age) that he may have never married?
