Contacting the Corte Appello di Aquila

Wanted any input from Italian residents here on the forum.... if this might be a good notion:

I am thinking of contacting the Appellate court in Aquila to see if they can help provide me any details about my great grandfather who was appointed a position of Judge there in 1913-14. I'm hoping to try to get any information that they may have retained in their records regarding any personal data of him, NICOLANGELO DE SIMONE.

I still do not know with any certainty in what city/province he might have been born.
Assuming that he married in the home town of his wife, Silvia Paolucci - b. July 23 1859
CASTELNUOVO DELLA DAUNIA, FOGGIA. But no records are accessible for the area as yet, as far as I know.


Could this be a good idea, emailing them, and if so, what 'tips' in so much.

L'Aquila would be the last known residence for him and in so much, I'm assuming perhaps he died there to.
His birth year would have been apprx. 1851 - Marriage probably around 1880.

That's amazing mmongo ! Thanks A proper date but, now to determine the City. It's not Montorio nei Frentani as I was led to think, that's certain now. I still believe probably in Campobasso Province. Will begin to review again now.

The birth data for the children I've had on my tree for some time. But, with the links you sent, I can see now that suspicions of his marriage in Silvia's place of birth was not correct - reviewing records from 1877-1885 proved no such event. Next step... ?
