Help Translating 1800's Document from Mendicino?

Post by mnaccarato »

Hi All. I received this 1800's document from a relative but am having trouble deciphering any of it. I believe it may be a marriage license? Any help?

Act of Marriage Celebration
Province of Calabria Citeriore
District of Cosenza
University of Mendicino
Number 10

Today, the eighth of August 1811 at 9 p.m. in the town hall before local officials and in the presence of witnesses as required under the law appeared Giuseppe-Gaetano Maria Naccarato, age 20, laborer, born in this comune, domiciled here, a minor, son of Geniale Naccarato, deceased, and of Arcanagela Gaudio, age about 41, domicilie in this comune,
And Maria-Innocenza Reda, age 16, born in this comune, domiciled here, minor, daughter of Serafino Reda, age about 52, leather worker (I think – pezzaio?), domiciled in this town, and of Saveria Gaudio, age about 39, domiciled in this comune
Researching Gibellina, Sicily surnames Bivona, Bonafede, Zummo, Ponzio, Bevinetto, Beninati, Fontana, Cipolla, Bruno, Manfrè, Lanfranca, and Navarra
