Post by jrbak »

Hello,
I would like some help with additions or corrections to this Latin marriage record of 1737 for Joseph Antonio Negri: There are two here on pg. 36 middle of pg.

Die vigesima prima(21) Feb 1737 supradicta (above mentioned, I believe churches- SS Petri and Laurenti at top of page.
Joseph Antus (Antonio) quondam Laurenti (deceased Lorenzo) et Anna filia (daughter of ) Gasparis Brunella(i).

Hi,
Before I enter this Giuseppe Antonio Negri's 1737 marriage record into my tree I would like to be certain of this date as well as getting a translation for the words after "supra dicta ecclesia" ? does this say something about Piverone?
I believe the paragraph following all of these marriages listed are probably the banns for these marriages- correct? I cannot read any of this Latin.
Thank you so much!

It seems correct.
Of course, it's 1737.

Dear Angela (AngelaGrace56) and PippoM,
I appreciate you both double checking me on this as I do believe it is my fifth great grandfather's marriage record. I have to make certain so I do not venture down the wrong line. I can't thank you both enough. Yes, I will try to make the posts short and to the point. Thank you for all the advice, Angela.
With much gratitude,
