Hi all.
Have found a marriage certificate for my 2nd great grand parents, Giuseppe Picho or Picho Giuseppe Corona and Angela Maria Mantelli. If anyone can help with information on their parents it would be appreciated.
Giuseppe's parents were Carlo Corona born circa 1827 - 1830 in Lu, Alessandria, Piemonte, Italy and Maria Metti born circa 1837 in San Salvatore, Alessandria, Piemonte, Italy.
Angela's parents were Luigi Mantelli, no birth year, in Valmadonna, Alessandria, Piemonte, Italy and Isabella Cellerino, no birth year, in Valmadonna, Alessandria, Piemonte, Italy.
Thanks in advance
Corrado

I think this must be the marriage record you are referring to:
Marriage No 92
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cat=786287
The record says that "Pietro Giuseppe Corona, 27 yo, never married, peasant, was born in Lu", and that he resided in San Salvatore. His parents Carlo Corona and Maria Metti also resided in San Salvatore. It doesn't say where the parents were born. Finding their respective death records, or their marriage record would confirm their place of birth.
I know that the records for Alessandria on line are currently limited, so if the publications (pubblicazioni) for this marriage are on line, you could also look for that, as sometimes the publications give more information about the parents of the bride and groom.
