Help with translation of birth document #29 for Ferdinando Pastore

Post by jrbak »

Hello Everyone,
I have missed each of you as I have been busy inputting all the material I had gathered so far on my Nigra-Negri side into the FTM and starting to send the relatives the information much to their astonishment as I had uncovered our 10th great grandfather. I am still looking at very old Latin records for some missing records. Now I am on to the Pastore's and I would be pleased if someone would mind giving me an assist with additions and or corrections again.

Record # 29 1826 Ferdinando Tegundinus? Placido? legitimate son of Giovanni Battista from deceased Gorgio Giacinto and Catherine Zucchino, and Maria Magdalena from deceased Giovanni Borghesio and Maria Baratto, spouses Pastore, was born on 29th of June and baptized the same day, Cuni or Luni Tuscepere?? sponsors? Giovanni Giuseppe Maria from deceased Giuseppe Baratto and Maria Catharina daughter of deceased Giovanni Borghesio.

Dear Liveomoreno,
Thank you so much for your translation work and the corrections for me. I appreciate it so much. Hope you are having a great day. If I may ask a question; does Secondino have a meaning (like second son) or is it a regular Italian name? Thank you.

Hi Mmogno,
Thank you for the correction. Nice to have your help again too. I did find a first brother today so it answered my question about the meaning of Secondino which is translated to second in latin. I appreciate liveomoreno's help so much also.

Jefferie,
Secondino is a regular name, could imply that he was the second son but but it is just a free guess.

Mmogno,
grazie per la correzione

Dear liveomoreno,
Thank you so much for your reply. I was not certain about the word secondino but thought it might be second so I was able to find the first son on that hunch. Thanks so much.
