Help with script and translation

Post by Colaiacovo_Search »

I'm wondering if anyone's eyes might be better than mine on making out the script on this document, with your experience and knowledge of language, surnames and locations:

It's a birth record for my ancestor Maria Maddalena Savino. Looking for the age/birth location/profession information for her parents. I can see that the father's name is Pietro but otherwise lost.

Thanks so much for your consideration.

Birth No 61: Maria Maddalena Savino

Registered in Stigliano on 10 April 1823

Appearing before the official was Pietro Savino, son of the deceased Gaetano, 46 yo, Bracciale (day labourer), living in Stigliano, Strada Sopra il Trascale?, to present a baby girl who he reported was born from Isabella di Santo, 36 yo, his wife, living as above, and from him the declarant, details as above. The child was born on 8 April 1823, at five at night, in her own home, and was given the name Maria Maddalena. The other names written on the second page are just the witnesses to the presentation of the child and to the details of the Birth Record.

Baptism Details are in the right column:

Maria Maddalena Savino was baptised in the Church of Stigliano on 10 April 1823.
