Appearing before the official was Santi Mazzu', 26 yo, stagnaio (plumber), living in Montalbano, who reported that at 7.30 pm, on 13 April, in the house in Largo Sangovanni, no number, from his wife, Caterina Tromba, a casalinga (housewife/domestic), living with him, was born a baby girl who he presented to the official, and gave the name Francesca.

Witnesses to the presentation and recording of the act were:

Francesco Trimboli, 60 yo, scarpellino (stonecutter), and Giuseppe Lopresti, 40 yo, bracciante (day labourer).

(Santi has signed his name along with the official. The two witnesses were unable to write.)
