I trust every one in the states had a wonderful Christmas and New Years and that our Italian relatives elsewhere had the same honoring their respective traditions.

I would appreciate your help with the Latin translation of this birth document for Domenica Maria Benedetto of ?? die March 1776 in this church. Domenica Maria legitimate daughter of Giuseppe of deceased Carlo and Maria?? of deceased Giovanni Domenico Baratto, spouses Benedetto, was baptized by me Paola Antonio Negro ??. Godparents were Pietro of deceased Giuseppe and Maria, spouses Pozzo?

legitimate and (natural) daughter, baptized by me Paul(o), born on the same day.
Pozzo (ok). I believe this is good. Thank you so much for your help. I feel I have learned so much and am doing better. I translated a great many documents over the holidays for myself and now will place on line for corrections to see how I am doing. I am so much better now at deciphering the Latin and a little better with the Italian.
