Hello,
I am hoping someone can translate the attached two page handwritten letter to my wife's grandmother from 1935. Thank you for your help!

Handwritten letter from 1935
Re: Handwritten letter from 1935
As I understand, this is the letter the author of a drama wrote to an actress who played one of its characters; he thanks her for how she interpreted her role.
Not a full translation, but some sentences: "...you gave life, grace, and love to one of the dearest creatures that my imagination could create..."; "...I was proud of your interpretation, as you dressed the soul of the girl you represented of a poetic light, by means of your torment..."; "you can be be proud of what you have done, since you can be imitated, but not passed..."; "...I'd like to thank you some other way, but who knows if I will be able to..."

Re: Handwritten letter from 1935
Dear Pippo - Wow, thank you! I so appreciate your great work. Yes you are correct, the woman who received this letter, Olimpia Valerio (1903-1967), was an actress in New York's Italian-language theater in the 1930s. She was my wife's grandmother, who was born in Naples and immigrated to New York in 1912. I will share your wonderful translation with my wife and her brothers, who remember their grandmother fondly. Thank you again for your kindness. Warm regards, Doug
