Francesco Migliarese, 38 years old, phlebotomist, living in Grottaminarda, states that at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd of October, at his house on Strada Nostra Donna, number 28, was born a baby girl, to whom he gives the name __narda. His wife is Teresa Adinolfi.
Side notes:
United in marriage to Gennaro Colantuano on the 9th of November 1905 in Grottaminarda.
Death: March 24, 1956 in Ariano Irpino.

I don't understand the side note. Who married Gennaro Colantuano and what's with the death date of 1956 on a record from 1879? Doesn't that seem odd.

The side notes are about Ernarda--what a name. It means that she married Gennaro in 1905 and she died in 1956.
In the Italian vital record system, no matter where someone was married or died, the town of their birth was to be notified and an annotation/side note was supposed to be entered on their birth certificate in the margin. The system is not perfect, but it worked for Ernarda in this case.
