I'm trying to translate the heading of this 1747 Riveli record from Sicily.
So far, I have:
Declaration made by Mauro Pitruzzello of this municipality of Melilli, legitimate and (natural???) son of deceased Sebastiano and of (Barbara?), (former/second spouse?) of Pitruzzello, made in (force/earnest?) under this notice published on July 9, 1747.
What are the correct words in parentheses? Why is the word "delli" repeated?
If former/second spouse is correct, then whose spouse - Mauro or Sebastiano? Is it "olis jug"?
Thanks.

"delli" repeated twice must be a "typo"

Re: Stuck on a Few Words
Thanks.
Former means deceased?
So Barbara is the former spouse of Mauro, not of Sebastiano? She's Mauro's former wife, not his father's former wife?

I apologise if I was not able to explain myself.
I meant that Sebastiano and Barbara were once spouses, but they are no more, as they are deceased.

Okay. It also looks like Mauro is a widower. Children but no wife.
