Death Certificate, no age listed?

Post by dpv »

I am pretty sure this is correct, but I just want confirmation (since I am looking through a lot of these).

The above is a death certificate, but I could not find the age at death of the individual. It lists his occupation, where he was born and his parents, but nothing about age.

Am I missing something? I hope I am, since age at death is helpful for this type of research.

Thank you,

You are correct - no age listed.
Domenico Visco, age 46, miller, brother of the deceased, domiciled in Petina, and Vincenzo Visco, age 32, laborer, domiciled in Petina, brother of the deceased, declared that on November 21, 1822, at 10 a.m., in his home, Matteo Visco died, born in Petina, blacksmith, domiciled in Petina, son of Antonio Visco, laborer, domiciled in Petina, and of Niccolina Zamiello, deceased, domiciled in life in Petina.

Thanks for your response. It is appreciated. Perhaps I can utilize the relationship between the witnesses and the deceased to help me out.
