I'm looking for any information on my father's family and would especially like to find out the name of the boat they came from Italy to Ellis Island aboard. According to 1920 census records, my great-great grandfather's name was Michael Orlando (possibly born Michele) and he was born in 1862 in Italy. My great-great grandmother's name was Francis Orlando (possibly born Francesca) and she was born in 1867 in Italy. I'm told they were from Palermo. They came to the US in 1897 and were naturalized in 1903. They lived in New York for a short time before settling in Easton, PA where they owned a bakery. Census records list 2 sons; Joseph Orlando born in 1899 in Italy (not sure how since they came to the US in 1897?) and my great grandfather Mario Orlando born in 1904 in New York.
If anyone has more information or any tips on where I can find information on Michael and Francis from prior to their immigration I would appreciate it!
