Would I be able to have someone translate this please. I would like I am trying to research my great grandparents. And learn who their parents are.
Thank you

Marriage Act No 43: Giacomo Dunia and Nunziata Coco

Oppido Mamertina: 6 September 1896

Appearing before the official were:

Groom: Giacomo Dunia, celibe (never married), 22 yo, bovaro (ox driver), who was born in Tresilico, but resides in Oppido. He was the son of Saverio (Dunia) and of Rosa Russo, who both reside in Oppido.

and

Bride: Nunziata Coco, nubile (never married), 25 yo, contadina (peasant), born in Oppido, and resides in Oppido, the daughter of the deceased Paolo (Coco) and of Filomena Macri, who resides in Oppido.

The hand written section at the bottom sets out when the banns were posted – the first on 23 August, the second on 30 August. (Unfortunately these are not on line.) The parents of the groom gave their consent to the marriage.
