Translation of death certs on parte 11
Re: Translation of death certs on parte 11
Hi, John.
In the part 2 there are the transcriptions of acts of death happened outside the comune of residence of the person.
I begin with n. 2.
In front of Alberto Mansfield, Public Notary of the County of San Mateo, State of California, the owner (F. Greco) and an employee of a company where Alfredo Maritano was working in June 1911 declare that on 15 June 1911 he died having fallen from a boat in the Redeoved (?) Creek, due to an accident ('caduta di un'armatura') and there has not been possible to find his body.
For the others I'll give you details in the morning (here it's night). N. 1 was a soldier, died in hospital, n. 3 died probably for an accident, no details written.

N. 1 -
Michele Maritano, 21 yo + 6 months, soldier, born in Valgioie, unmarried, son of Luigi Maritano and Teresa Maritano, died in the Military Hospital of Roma on 30/9/1911. Registered at the Stato Civile of Roma on 4/10/1911.
(You could find also the death act on the register of Roma).
N. 3 -
Giovanni Maritano, son of Antonio Maritano and Margherita Maritano, born in Valgioie 28/1/1889, farmer, died in Lombardore on 16/7/1912. The death act was written on request by the Pretore (Public Prosecutor), this may mean it was for an unusual cause, such as an accident.
