Help with Death cert - Dodero / Rossetto Casel

Post by JohnBhoy »

Looking for help translating this death cert...entry 12

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... at=1019419

Cattarina Dodero ( maiden name Rossetto Casel?) widow of Antonino? and mother of Andrea.

Looking for as much info as possible from this, I think she is my GGGG Grandmother so parents names if available would be great,

Many thanks,

John

March 31 I870, Sant’Antonino di Susa
Maggiorino Dodero son of Andrea, 26, peasant, and Urbano Amprino (?) 39 son of the deceased Gioanni , clerk both living in Sant’Antonino
Report the death of Cattarina Dodero (maiden name Rossetti Casel) , 78, peasant, born and living in Sant’Antonino
She died the same day at nine in the morning in the house of her son Andrea, in borgata Maisonetta
She was the daughter of the deceased Giuseppe (Rossetto Casel) and Barbara Rossi (?) peasants, who were born and lived in the same Comune, and the widow of Antonino Dodero
Ciao

Yes my mistake. It's Rossetto Casel
My mother's family is from the Susa Valley and I know some Rossetti ( a very common surname) so I got confused...
Good luck with your research

Thank you once again Paola, I had seen in your post that you had said Rossetto Casel as well so deleted my post as I understood it was most likely a typo. It is my relation and also looks like it adds another level to my tree as well as expanding sideways with Maggiorino Dodero as well.

Have a good evening,
John
