March 22, 1896 before officials at the commune offices in Orsogna, appeared Nicolò Iacomini, age 21, farmer, domiciled in Orsogna, who declared that at 5:20 a.m. on March 20 in the home in Sezione Campagna #59, Maria d’Angelo, his wife, a farmer living with him, gave birth to a male child that was presented to the commune and who was given the name of Filippo.

Witnesses were Giuseppe Mastrocola, age 58, farmer, and Antonio Damiano, age 50, farmer, both of whom are residents of the commune. Only the official signed because the other parties were unable to write.
