January 17, 1849 at town hall in Orsogna appeared Antonio Iacomini, age 37, farmer, domiciled in Orsogna in Strada della Villa da Piedi, who presented a male child and declared that it was born on that day at 11:00 Italian hours (about 5 a.m.) to Speranza di Benedetto, his legitimate wife, age 34, a farmer who lives with him, and to the declarant. The child was given the name of Giovanni.

Witnesses were Camillo d’Angelo, age 53, manufacturer, Antonio Cipollone, age 35, farmer, both residents of Orsogna on the above-named street.

Giovanni Iacomini was baptized on January 17 in the Parish of San Nicola di Bari.
