Greetings. I am trying to find information on my great-great grandparents Antonio Sole (Born 1874 in Naples died in 1920 in New York) and Marianna Abbisogno (not sure when she was born, but died in 1957 in New York). Antonio's parents names are Gennaro Sole and Anna Cuorvo as per his death certificate that I do have. I do not know the name of Marianna's parents. Antonio and Marianna had 5 children - Assunta, Lucia (my great grandma), Raffaela, Gennaro and Pietro - all born in Italy and they came to NY in 1910. Trying to find records tracing their parents, etc.
Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

I see on their ship manifest that Marianna and the children arrived in New York January 27 1911 (yes, on top of the page there is written 1910, but it is very probably a clerical error, all the other pages have 1911) It gives her age as 43, so she was born about 1868. Is that correct?

From his immigration record on May 11, 1903, it looks like Gennaro came from Castello di Cisterna.
Researching Gibellina, Sicily surnames Bivona, Bonafede, Zummo, Ponzio, Bevinetto, Beninati, Fontana, Cipolla, Bruno, Manfrè, Lanfranca, and Navarra

Yes, that information Paola is correct. I do have a copy of the ship manifest. Mariana was born around 1968.

Gennaro immigrated in 1903? I didn't think he came to America - only his son Antonio did, and then his wife Marianna came with her 5 children, along with her sister-in-law (Anna Ferrigno) and her children. I show that Antonio came in 1905. Perhaps I am wrong...

Actually, I do not think this is the same Gennaro Sole. Antonio Sole came in 1905 and was almost 30 years old so his father could not have come here in 1903 at age 20. Perhaps another brother. Raffaele Sole was his brother, whose wife was Anna Ferrigno I mentioned above.
