#120

June 4, 1899 at Comune offices in Orsogna appeared Emidio di Benedetto, age 24, farmer, domiciled in Orsogna, who declared that at 7:30 p.m. on May 31 in the home in Sezione Campagna #112, from his union with an unmarried woman who was not a relative that would prohibit recognition, a female child was born who was presented and was given the name of Nicola.

Witnesses were Giuseppe Saroce, age 60, farmer, and Giuseppe Tenaglia, age 26, farmer, both residents of Orsogna.

In right margin:
Nicola di Benedetto was the legitimate daughter of Emidio di Benedetto and Filomena Iocco based on their subsequent marriage celebrated today and recorded in the civil records as number 37, Orsogna, July 18, 1899. Signed by Filippo Iocco, mayor.

Thank you!
Question: I found death dates for several of my great grandfather's siblings in Family Search and the City of Marsala send me official death records for them. They state how old they were when they died but I cannot find any birth registries for them, including my great grandfather. Could they be in the diverse collection? Would you be so kind to send me diversi link for Marsala for years 1848 -1875. I will search for them there.
Thank you for your assistance.

Thank you for the Marsala links but I couldn't locate several of the births in them before. I was hoping there would be a diversi link to check. I will check them again in case I missed them.
Have a good day!

Thank you for the Diversi link. Unfortunately it doesn't start until 1823 and I needed 1820. A lot of missing years, but God bless them, they had indexes!!
