Looking for information on my great grandfather for my family tree

Hello-
I am working on a family tree and trying to find out as much as I can about my great grandfather Giuseppe Vinci.
The information I have on him is as follows:

Born- Nov. 17, 1903 in Candidoni
Mother- Maria Papandrea
Father- Rocco Vinci
Spouse- Mary Cama
Children- Antoinette, Rocco and Antonio
Death- Oct. 22, 1981

When he came to the US he lived in the Bronx with Vincenzo Papandrea, if that helps with finding any information about his mother. This is all that my family knows about him. His son, my grandfather Antonio, is still living, so it means a lot to be able to give him as much information as possible about his family.

Hi! Thank you so much for this! I am looking for records specifically for the Vinci family as I have already completed the Cama branch of my tree. I have been able to find all of these docs on ancestry and family search, but have never been able to locate anything about his actual family in Italy. Do you know of any other websites I could try to find that info on?

Here's what I found out about Italian records for Candidoni:
No Candidoni records on Antenati for your grandfather's birth
Records are available on Familysearch although some years are missing. These however are viewable only at a Family History Center or Affiliate Library. I would check for Giuseppe's birth act first; if the year is missing, I would then check marraiges from 1903 backwards for his parents' marriage act.
