Different Sicilian Records
I was just curious, what other Sicilian records besides those of the Church can be found on FamilySearch or Ancestry? I know my Great Great Grandfather fought in WW1 but are there military records I could search for to find him? Are there census or other civil records that list addresses and occupations? I know the names of my ancestors from Parish records, but I don't have a clue about where they lived exactly or what they did for a living.

Civil records on Familysearch and Antenati:
Birth records usually list the father's and sometimes mother's occupation and the street address for the birth.
Marriage records would also show occupations of the bride and groom and sometimes the occupations of the
parents.

For occupations you might try searching books on Google with your ancestor's name and town. (Specify books instead of all.) There are books in the late 19th century that summarize key features of most of the comunes of Italy and list the local professionals and tradesman. If he had a trade, he very possibly appears in the book. For example, here is my great-great grandfather Girolamo Bivona listed with his brothers for their blacksmith shop in Gibellina, Sicily. I've found several relatives scattered in these. https://www.google.com/books/edition/An ... frontcover
