Dear friends, my ancestors the Burzios lived around the Borgo Dora/ Ballon in Torino towards the end of the 19 century. I have located births of great-grandfather and his siblings in the registri dello stato civile.
There are some surviving Church records for Torino on FamilySearch but they are not indexed and I don’t know the parish churches for the area as many have changed their name or have been abandoned.
Any help would be gratefully received!
Gratzie!

Can you post the links to the birth certificates of your great-grandfather and his brothers?

@Mmogno, this record has been so useful to me as I now have a place of origin for my great-great-great grandparents - as well as names!
One thing confused me about the location having thoroughly sifted through the adjoining microfilms in the sequence, how were you able to identify "Battesimi, matrimoni, morti (Torino-Buttigliera Alta) 1883, 7960767" as the correct film? Am I correct in thinking that rather than describing the general locality of Buttligliera Alta as being in the region of Torino- as I had originally assumed - that 'Torino-Buttigliera Alta' refers to the city AND areas including 'Buttigliera Alta'?? I had been working on the assumption that the films would only contain Citta records if refered to specifically in the subject title - as in earlier examples? If you have time I would love to know where I was going wrong.
Best wishes

I searched for the baptismal acts for 1883 of the parish of SS Simone and Giuda (in Borgo Dora).
I did not find them in "Battesimi, matrimoni, morti (Torino) 1882-1883 (7960768)" and then I searched for them in "Battesimi, matrimoni, morti (Torino-Buttigliera Alta) 1883 (7960767)".
Yes, 'Torino-Buttigliera Alta' refers to the city AND areas including 'Buttigliera Alta'.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look back through the Chieri records - discovering my ancestor was originally Bernardino rather than Bernardo was something my family did not know! Thank you for also clarifying the naming of the registers.
Next stop when the pandemic finally ends - Chieri!
Gratzie Mmogno.
