#3, Giuseppe di Rico
February 10, 1928 at comune offices in Orsogna appeared Filippo di Rico, age 59, farmer, born and domiciled in Orsogna, and who presented a copy of the death certificate of Giuseppe di Rico, translated from English, requesting that we record it in the register of the death acts. It being a legitimate request I transcribed it precisely.
The Italian Consulate, Erie PA.
Death Certificate. In the attached certificate of death # 319580, this 5th of January 1928 from the office of vital statistics Harrisburg, PA it states that Giuseppe Di Rico, son of Filippo and of Giacinta D’Angela, spouse of Maria Antonia Tenaglia, born in Italy December 8, 1902, laborer, died on October 24, 1927 in Erie, PA. The death was caused by breaking of the spinal column in a work accident, the cause officially determined by D. L. Hanley of Erie, PA on October 25, 1927. He was buried in Calvary Cemetery in Erie on October 27, 1927, handled by Brugger & Sons.

Witnesses in Orsogna were Panfilo Andreola, age 66, tailor, and Vincenzo Silveri, age 63, both residents of the commune.

In case you don’t have it, the American certificate.

Thank you very much! I wondered why his death registry was so long.
