Catasto Storico

Post by Santos »

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering what the two letters between the landowner's name (Possessori) and the first name that I suppose it's the landowner father's name stand for?
I'm referring to the Catasto Storico di Rovigo/Salara where after the landowner's name there is always two letters that looks like "qu".
Example:
Magrini Domenico-Antonio, Benvenuto ed Adelaide fratelli e sorella "qu" Francesco - liveralli a Pellegati Andrea.

Thanks!

"qu Francesco" = quondam Francesco.
Domenico-Antonio, Benvenuto and Adelaide Magrini are children of deceased Francesco
