San Giorgio and the Mountain

My direct ancestors owned arable land located "between San Giorgio and the mountain".

I found San Giorgio directly above the words "with the Third" in the title, and about 1/3 of the way up, almost half-way up.

Can anyone identify an adjacent mountain?

Looking at the topography, I can really only make out some flat-topped hills.

I know the Sicilians refer to Mt Etna as "Monte Beddu" (Monte Bello, "beautiful mountain"). I know that covers a lot of ground, but that may actually be what they are referring to. There is some flat farmland a little SW of Catania...

I think it's much more local. I know there was a local area referred to as mezzo montagna. I don't know if it was a mountain called "Mezzo" or if it meant half or south. I'm thinking maybe south mountain, which would be in the direction of San Giorgio.

I studied it a bit better. It appears that there is a low ridge (I wouldn't exactly call it a "mountain") just south of the table mesa that appears to be the site of the old 'San Giorgio'. That area today looks to be dotted with tree orchards of some type and a few homesteads. It looks like perhaps at the base of the ridge may have been used as crop or vineyard land.

Only thing that remotely resembles a "mountain" looks like a lone high hill to the NW of Melilli...

I typed the word "Bohme" and a pointer came up in Provinz Kroatien (1783-1784) - First Military Survey., but the word Bohme doesn't display.

What modern country is that?

My guess is that the site searches only for place names, and perhaps street names. No searching by surname. If you enter a surname it might find a place/street with that name. but not an owner.
