Yes, dots over the i in all the occurrences of the word "parenti" on the page can't be just a coincidence of stray marks.

For what it's worth, Ancestry.com transcribes it as "father". They have mis-spellings of the person's surname, the final destination, the person in US, etc. so I don't know how much you can trust. The important point for me is whether Aurelio Sarcia's father was Giuseppe Sarcia from Floridia, regardless of the wording used.
