Anyone here experienced in Native American genealogy?

Yes. I had thought I had some on my dad's side (possibly explaining his skin tone, etc) but it turned out false. And 2 first cousins (as well as I) have 0% native American ancestry.

Have you researched the Dawes Rolls..?

My ancestors on that side came from Canada and upstate NY so I don't think they're relevant.

I believe Canada keeps "First Nation" records...
