Documents attached to the registration of the marriage between:

- Antonio ESPOSITO, aged 23, bachelor, sailor, born and residing in Castellammare, son of Giuseppe and of Antoniella FILOSA,

and

- Maria Stanislaa DI MARTINO, aged 18, spinster, spinner, born and residing in Castellammare, daughter of the late Francesco and of Giuseppa ESPOSITO

1. Extract of birth of the groom (born Feb. 26th 1815);
2. Extract of birth of the bride (born Apr. 28th 1823);
3. Extract of a sworn affidavit signed by five witnesses at the Court House of Castellammare on Dec 11th 1841, given by Giuseppa ESPOSITO, widow of the late Francesco DI MARTINO for the purpose of documenting how the latter, nine years earlier, sailed on a boat owned by his uncle Natale towards Spain, which sank off the French coast with the loss of everyone on board, her husband being among the victims. This document is required in stead of a death certificate to be produced for the marriage of her daughter Maria Stanislaa DI MARTINO with Antonio ESPOSITO.
4. Extract of death of Vincenzo DI MARTINO, aged 95, widow of Giuseppa ROCCO, sailor, born in Castellammare, died on Apr. 6th 1837;
5. Marriage banns, posted Oct. 31st, 1841;
6. Promise of marriage, dated Dec. 18th, 1841, with the annotation of the celebration of the wedding on Dec. 27th.
