There is no address given. I don't see a number 9. It just says they were living in a house situated in this town.

BTW: The baby is a male: Ciro Trentacoste

The mother was Giovanna Di Giorgio daughter of deceased Giuseppe and the father Castrenze son of deceased Giacomo. She was 40 he was 45.

Thank You,
Reason I Ask about her birth location, is she had a child in 1855 with Castrenze , on birth record for her child (Pietro),it shows very little info. Also can not find a Marriage Record for her and Castrenze in Marineo searches.

No. 159

It's possible then that the marriage took place elsewhere. Marriages generally took place in the bride's birth town.

You could try looking through the marriage pubblications as they were posted in both bride and groom's town. Often there is no index so quicker option might be to look for her death record in Marineo which should have her birth town. Look for both Castrenze and Giovanna's death record at the same time, then you have both. It also means that if you locate Castrenze's first and it lists him as a widower you need to back track to locate Giovanna's and vice versa, etc. You need their death records anyway. Best to you. Let us know if you need help.

I decided to have a look through some death records today for Giovanna and Castrenze but didn't locate. I believe that Giovanna was not born in Marineo. I didn't find any evidence of the surname Di Giorgio there. I decided to look for a marriage record for their son Ciro and found the following 1895 marriage record and pubblication, both of which indicate that both Castrenze and Giovanna were still living at the time of Ciro's marriage. Unfortunately I didn't locate any death records after 1895 for the town of Marineo.

1895 Marriage Pubblication No 6: Ciro Trentacosti and Maria Azzara

Both Costrenze and Giovanna are still living, in Marineo.

1895 Marriage No 12 Ciro Trentacosti e Maria Azzara: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=2051639

I'm also wondering whether Costrenze was in fact born in Marineo. Do you have his birth record at all? I looked through indices 1820-1826 but didn't see his name there. Maybe they married elsewhere and then moved to Marineo?
