This is a good description, consistent with my thinking..

Yes, I've seen it and others like it. I think maybe I've mentioned before that my face can be on the ruddy side, but the rest of my skin has no reddish undertones. I think it's due to occasional mild roseacea that I get on my cheeks sometimes...

I'd go more by thoroughbred Italians.

Skin complexion is a continuum.

None of the "thoroughbreds" from my mother's side were the least bit ruddy, although skin tones varied from light-dark. In our case, the documented Sicilians (my aunt's family) were among the lightest.

Since you mentioned Rudy, the map shows "Giuliani" in only 3 communes, one being the neighboring commune to my parenti (Lugnano/Labico). I have stumbled on the surname of Giuliani many times in my research & may be connected through marriage somewhere. A couple of my DNA matches have Giuliani's in their trees...

Definitely olive-toned, IMHO. He sometimes appears a bit ruddy, but at other times not, so I couldn't rule out that being makeup to offset some of the olive which might make him look greenish on camera. I'd have to see an unretouched photo to give a better opinion. Internet photos are all over the place color and tint-wise.

I'd classify him as in the brown family.

Is there an example of an Italian with darker skin who you wouldn't call olive toned?

I can't think of anyone offhand. I'd have to think about that...

Could go either way, brown or olive...

I look okay in green or yellow only if it's matted, not if it's bright or neon.

Blue seems okay, maybe because blue goes with yellow (like the Rams).

I can't really think of a color of clothing that looks 'bad' on me. But then again I never asked anyone else for their opinion, either...

BTW, I was born only a few blocks from the current home location of the Rams (SoFi stadium)...

I've been to the Forum, Dodger Stadium, and the Coliseum, but not to the new place.
