Questions re:1884 atto di matrimonio

Post by Rodio »

Hello all,

I have a question regarding the following atto di matrimonio, between Vincenzo DeLuca and Filomena Cusati (numero cinque). What is the actual date of their marriage? Is it 10 May 1884, the date listed on the last sentence?

I am not familiar with Italian marriage records from this period. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

They were married 8 April 1884 - top line. The date you see at the base of the record is the date of the official's verification that the act was accurate.
