Birth No 248: Casimiro Spallitta son of Angelo
Registered in Mezzoiuso (Mezzojuso) on 10 November 1879

Appearing was Angelo Spallitta, 32 yo, villico (farmer), living in Mezzoiuso, who reported that at 10.30 am on 7 November 1879, in the house in Mezzoiuso, no number given, from Giuseppa Nuccio, his wife, was born a baby boy who he presented to the official, and gave the name of Casimiro.

The other names mentioned there are just the people witnessing the registration proceedings.

This exact same birth act (a different written version) was transcribed (by me) a couple of months ago (posted by another member). You can probably find it by searching the names within.

Since you're both researching the same person/persons, you are likely related.

I remember it distinctly as my BFF's family is also from Mezzojuso. And Casimiro is not a common name.
