Does anyone have a template in the Italian language for asking a local church what records (types and dates) are available for genealogical research?

Correction. I sent in both languages. Would this have been understood by a local church in Sicily?

or maybe try one of the Sicilian Genealogy Facebook Pages eg. https://www.facebook.com/groups/sicilygenealogy/
I’m sure you would get a reply from each of these places. Possibly the parish priest didn’t reply because he wanted more info about you personally. If you search here on the Forum, there have been sample letters posted in the past.
