Names on these two Baptismal records

Post by italian059 »

Would someone please tell me the difference between the two names on both these records? Are they both girls? Looks like one is Blasia, I am thinking Biagia. The other says Blasiam. Would appreciate any information.
Thanks so much,
Mary

There is no difference: The two newborns are both females and both are given the name Biagia (latin Blasia). In the act on December 11, 1841 there is an abbreviation in the name, in that on February 3, 1835 no abbreviation.
