Birth No 76: Concetta, Teresa, Domenica Zito

Oppido Mamertina: 20 July 1820

Appearing was Rosario Coco, 29 yo, travagliatore (worker/labourer), living in Oppido. He reported that on 18 July from himself and Saveria Zito, 30 yo, his wife, was born a baby girl, to whom was given the name Concetta, Teresa, Domenica.

Side column gives the baptism details: Baptised on 20 July 1820 in the parish of S. Nicola de Medio.

(Re the time of birth:
It says born at hour 1 at night. I can’t remember the formula to work the time out, not that I could ever confidently work it out anyway. I don’t think it ever worked out to an “exact” time anyway, which I have issue with, being such an "exact-type" person? Someone else might help with the time. :) )

Prego, John.

Re the time of birth, I think it may have been about 10 pm that day, or not, because it is old Italian time. The new day began at sunset not at midnight. I think that's right Maybe?
