Is the phrase "Non lo so" invariable, or does "lo" change with the gender and singluar/plural of the implied direct object?

For example, if the word for what you don't know is feminine gender, would it change to "Non la so"?

Yes, for example:
"Questa cosa non la so",
"Questo non lo so".
