Cipollone Family of Sora

Post by pasqualedb »

My great grandfather was Giovanni Cipollone born 1903 in Sora, his parents were Giuseppe Cipollone and Filomena Fantauzzi. Supposedly Giovanni was one of 18 children and the youngest of them all. My family says that Giuseppe was married to another woman and had 9 children, and after she died he married Filomena and had another 9 children. I am guessing that Giuseppe was born about 1850's-1860's, and Filomena around 1870's-1880's. I was wondering if anyone had info to back this story up, as well as info on any of Giovanni's siblings. Thank you.

All of the above can be confirmed by a copy of the register of the Population page available at the archives in Sora. See my blog for a sample of the page and its information.

Hello, I am back to check if anyone knew they had descendants from Sora related to this family. I have found most of my GGF siblings' birth records and know that some of his sisters married into the Del Sole, Bifolchi, and Gargano families from Sora. As well, I know that he had a nephew who moved to Argentina, and another niece/nephew who moved to Australia. If anyone has any info on these families I would be happy to hear! Thank you.

Good afternoon. My great-grandfather Andre Cipollone, I found the birth data in the archive, where his parents were listed, Joseppe, and Philomena. André was born on April 4, 1899 in Sor. I would really like to talk with you, most likely, which I'm sure, your great-grandfather is my great-grandfather's own younger brother. I really want to know more about him, and I will tell you about the fate of Andre. my email address is alona.tsypolon5@gmail.com I signed up here with my boyfriend's email
