Hi,
Can someone please assist with translating pages from a marriage processetti?
I do not need a word-for-word translation… only important names, dates, and anything of significance that will assist with further research.
https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12 ... 53/wOAkmjJ
The right side of page 290 through the right side of page 291. They appear to reference the deaths of Francesco Antonio Vitale and Vito Vitale? From what I can decipher, Francesco died in an accident.
The right side of page 292. It appears to be the death notice of the mother of the groom, Vita Granelli.
The right side of page 293. Death notice of Giuseppe Potenza. I can make out his parents but I don’t see a reference to his wife at the time of his death.
Lastly, the right side of page 294 appears to be a marriage between Filippo Potenza and second wife Isabella Maria Caruso, is that correct?
Many thanks!

No, this is the death certificate for Filippo Potenza, widower of his second wife Isabella Maria Caruso, who died on March 8, 1797, about 46 yo.delfgill wrote: 11 Jul 2023, 01:18 ...

Thank you very much!!
Just to confirm...
Vita's surname was Granelli?
https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12 ... 79/LP9xorj
And Giuseppe Potenza's mother was Anna Lucia Saraguano? I don't see a wife referenced on his death record but the processetti appears to list a wife.

Also, pages 290-291... Are they the deaths of Francesco Antonio Vitale and/or Vito Vitale?

Re: Help with processetti documents
Francesco Antonio Vitale had died in 1829, drowned in the river of Acinello, returning from Ferrandina, where he had gone for work. He had been buried in Aliano, but the death had not been recorded by that municipality. His son Nicola had applied to the Court to remedy this irregularity. The existence of the father's death certificate was necessary to get married, because in this way the lack of paternal consent was justified.delfgill wrote: 12 Jul 2023, 17:59 ...
