Birth No 78: Carolina Antonia Vanzo

Registered 17 June 1886, in Trevignano

Gaetano Vanzo, son of Angelo, 42 yo, villico (farmer) living in Musano, reported that at 8 pm on 13 June 1886, in the house in Musano, No 97, from his wife living with him, Luigia Favotto, was born a baby girl to whom was gven the name Carolina Antonia.

The other names there are just the witnesses to the registration.

Side Note: On 13 December 1906 (Carolina) married with Durante ......? in the town of Trevignano, Act No 18, Part I.

Edit to Add:
I've worked out who Carolina married. I was reading Genezio but I think it may read Genesio (given name). It's a bit confusing because the name Durante can be both a given name and a surname. Anyways my thoughts are with "Genesio Durante" Durante is a surname appearing in the province.

Thank you Angela! Yes, Genesio should be correct, I had been waiting for this non-extract version from the commune. Longer story, but with no divorce possible, we believe that she left with the kids and what would become my great-grandfather (ie not Genesio :) ) to the US. It's still not really known if they married in the US before her death in 1919, as I have yet to ever locate it.

Hi deigo1

Thanks for confirming the name Genesio, and the story that goes with it. It's amazing how far you have achieved in such a short time, and especially with the limited resources you have had access to on line. You've obviously built up a really good rapport with the comunes A lot of people don't get responses, or it takes a long time to get hear back. Glad to see more of your records are going on line.

Take care.

Angela
