Hi all! I'm searching for a birth record for Gennaro Caliente (or Caliento) born in Saviano or Naples. We believe he was born on or around September 19, 1876. In America he later went by Joseph Calinda so there could potentially be additional name variations but we are somewhat confident he was Gennaro Caliente at birth.

The ship manifest will confirm the surname he is registered under and the Comune. You will need to write to the Comune of Naples or Saviano for the birth record as they are not currently on line.
