Birth Record Translation Help

Post by FMMarotta »

I believe I have found the birth record for Anna Maria Elizabeth Macri, sister to Francesco Macri. Would someone please translate the document with information on the name and age of the parents, birth location along with any other information, including information on the margin of the record. Thank you.

Birth No 99 – Anna Maria Elisabetta Macri
Registered Chiaravalle Centrale, 31 July 1898

Appearing was Maria Stagliano, daughter of deceased Lucia, 63 yo, levatrice (midwife), living in Chiaravalle. She reported that at 9.40 pm, on 30 July, in the house in rione Cappella, from Maria Caterina Gagliardi, a spinner, wife of Giuseppe Macri, a farmer, both living here, was born a baby of female sex who she presented, and gave the name of Anna Maria Elisabetta.

The baby’s father was unable to declare the birth as he was working in America at this time

Side Note: On 15 February 1917? marries Francesco Sinopoli in Chiaravalle
The reference is possibly Act No 4, Part 1 ......? I'll have to come back to it or someone else can chip in.

@mmogno

I did eventually work out what the abbreviation was, later while using my tablet, and was going to post today. You bet me to it.
