Unknown, abbreviated name

Unknown, abbreviated name

I'm into some records from the 1600s and I started running across these abbreviations which should be a name. They look like masculine and feminine forms of the same name. I'm seeing them often so it's a common given name.

Maybe "Biagio"?
I see one "bga" in the third record, also, that would be less usual.

That was my guess but it was odd that there were so many so close together over a few years. I have seen Biagia a few times in the past.
