Hello could someone help with the translation of the words at the margin on the birth record of Giuseppe Nanni from Gaggio Montano. This is my great Aunt's (Felicia Beta Credi) husband, the family story was he died in the coal mine not too long after coming to the US, and eventually my aunt left and remarried in Italy. I was curious if it mentions anything about his death. Also curious his mother's last name is it Lassi or laffi ?

The mother’s surname is Laffi.

Con sentenza 23 marzo 1904 del Tribunale di Bologna e trascritto al N.4 parte 1 del registro nascite comune di Gaggio Montano é stato il detto atto rettificato, al nome di Giuseppe padre si é sostituito quello di Eugenio.
Translated into this:
With sentence dated 23 March 1904 of the Court of Bologna and transcribed at #4 part 1 of the birth register of the municipality of Gaggio Montano, the said act was rectified and the name of Giuseppe, the father, was replaced by that of Eugenio.

The writing on the back of Giuseppe’s birth extract, the one you found in the attachments, is again stating the name rectification.

That clarifies why they had attached his father's (Eugenio) death record in the attachments

I had not thought about part 2 ...so I looked at the death records around the year Felicia remarried (1920) in Gaggio Montano, as unfortunately the Attachments are missing for that year. In Part 2 of the death records (1919) they had recorded his actual death record from IL (from 1912). Looks like the stories were indeed correct.
