Re: Request 1858 Marriage Translation
Marriage Promise No 9 (Left Side)
Alia 6 February 1858
(Church Marriage Right Column: Married on 7 February 1858 in the Parish of Alia)
Appearing were:
Groom: Signore Don (title) Alfonzo Colajanni, celibe (not married), 31 yo, born in Marineo, district/province of Palermo, a possidente (landowner), living in Alia, the son of Don (title) Francesco (Colajanni), a Chirurgo (Surgeon), deceased, and of Donna Gennelfa Rizzo, also deceased.
And
Bride: Donna Serafina Maria Spadaro, nubile (not married), 25 yo, born and living in Alia, district of Termini, Province of Palermo, daughter of Don (title) Domenico Spadaro, civile (landowner), living therein and of Donna Giuseppa Miceli, deceased.
Allegati presented were:
1. Birth Act of the groom
2. Birth Act of the bride
3. Certificate of notification (resulting in no oppositon to the marriage taking place)
4. Death Act of the father of the groom
5. Death act of the mother of the groom
6. Death Act of the mother of the bride
7. Certificate certifying that the groom was free to marry.
There is a note, which I understand reports that the groom was not able to exhibit the Death Act of his paternal grandfather due to the fact that the place of his death was not known. I don’t think he even knew where his paternal grandfather last lived? The writing is not so clear.

Re: Request 1858 Marriage Translation
Here's the translation for Dr D. Francesco Colajanni/Coleanni's original death record:
Death No 151 – Doctor Don Francesco “Coleanni”
Marineo – 5 December 1833
Appearing were Michelangelo Muradore, 48 yo, bracciale (day labourer), living in Marineo, and Antonino La Lena, 60 yo, contadino, living in Marineo. They reported that today, 5 December 1833, at 8 pm the Doctor Don Francesco Coleanni, 67 yo, husband of Donna Genuelfa Rizzo, died in his home. He was born in Caltavutoro, a Cerusico (surgeon), living in Marineo, son of the deceased Maestro Rosario (Coleanni), a Campiere (I’d say a Guardian, in this case), and of the deceased Donna Caterina Civiletti who had both lived in Marineo.
Original Death Record page 73 of 92: https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12 ... 68/LzaAnpm
Campiere: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campiere (“someone who watched over someone else’s properties to prevent damages, thefts, fires”. Someone trustworthy and of good character.) See discussion about this occupation here: https://www.italiangenealogy.com/forum/topic/33731

Re: Request 1858 Marriage Translation
You are both very welcome, as always. I've just had a look at Giuseppa Miceli's original death record, and it also differs a little from the original, so here is the translation of the original death record and the link to it:
Death No 72 – Donna Giuseppa Miceli
Registered in Alia on 10 August 1847
Appearing were Giovanni Genovese, 51 yo, villico, and Pietro Granata, 36 yo, villico, both living in Alia. They reported that today ie 10 August 1847, at 5 pm Donna Giuseppa Miceli, wife of Don Domenico Spadaro, died in the town of Alia. She was 48 yo, born in Alia, living in Alia in via Madrice Chiesa, the daughter of Notaio (Notary) D. Pietro Miceli, deceased, and of Donna Concetta Oddo, also deceased.
Original Death Record Page 40 of 83: https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12 ... 09/0ZeYVx6
And here is Serafina Spadaro's original Birth Record and translation:
Birth No 61 Serafina Maria Spadaro
Registered Alia 21 June 1833
Filippa Pagano, 56 yo, Levatrice (midwife), living Alia, presented a baby girl, and reported that she was born today, (21 June 1833) at 1 pm in the home of her parents, Donna Giuseppa Miceli, 40 yo and Don Domenico Spadaro, 42 yo, Civile (landowner) both living in Alia, and was given the name of Serafina. She was baptised the same day with the names Serafina Maria Spadaro in the Parish of Alia.

There is a note, which I understand reports that the groom was not able to exhibit the Death Act of his paternal grandfather due to the fact that the place of his death was not known. I don’t think he even knew where his paternal grandfather last lived? The writing is not so clear.

"Lo sposo non avendomi esibito l'atto di morte del di lui avo paterno ha con giuramento dichiarato di ignorare il luogo della di lui morte, e quello dell'ultimo suo domicilio. I testimoni intervenienti al presente atto hanno pure con giuramento dichiarato di conoscere lo sposo, ma di ignorare il luogo della morte del di lui avo paterno e quello dell'ultimo suo domicilio."

Thank you. This really helps. The script wasn't so clear and after reading what you have typed here I can now make out all the script.
